Oceanside ADU Fees 2026: The Ordinance Says $0 — the Draft Study Disagrees
An 800 sq ft detached ADU in Oceanside priced phase by phase — about $313,000. The zoning ordinance says the city 'shall not impose any impact fees upon the development of an ADU or JADU,' but a 2025 park DIF nexus draft (not adopted) would charge 800 sq ft ADUs up to $6.03/sq ft. Five items are awaiting confirmation from the city.
